Radio Mano, Papacango.

So I'm just back from New York City, which is a real

trip down memory lane for me. I lived there in the 80s for a few years. So I walk

around that town and I've got memories all over the place. Things I don't think

about, you know, in my normal life I walked down a street and it's like, oh wait,

I remember, yeah, a woman in 1987 who lived in that apartment right there and we

had sex while she was leaning out that window. I mean, weird stuff that comes back.

Yeah, New York, that was crazy. I just flew out for two nights. Neil Strauss

convinced his publisher to fly me out there for reasons that still aren't

completely clear to me because he certainly doesn't need me to help him

promote his new book, The Truth. But I'm doing what I can because it's an

amazing book. I wouldn't normally recommend a book that I'm only halfway

through, but in this case I know how it ends because I know the guy who wrote it

and I met him when he was going through a lot of the things that he describes

in this book. I didn't really know it. We interestingly we didn't really talk

very much about what he was going through. I mean, we did, but reading the book,

I have a perspective on Neil and a context, I guess. I guess I didn't really see

the context. I knew a bit about his personal life. You know, I've visited him in

two different houses. He's lived in. I've met his girlfriend and met some of his

friends people he works with. But I didn't really understand what was going on

until I read this book. It's an incredible book. It's like a lot of people,
