Ladies and gentlemen, welcome back to the Now that we're a family podcast. I cannot tell you how excited I am to introduce today's guest today's guest is my father-in-law Chad Johnson

and I have been looking forward to having this conversation with Chad for a really long time and I don't want to prolong this introduction.

So I'm just going to read a quick bio and then we're going to dive into the actual conversation.

As I already mentioned, he's my father-in-law but he's also married to Janice. I think they're going on, what is it, 28 years of marriage.

They've got 11 children in 2000 and two after a short career as a firefighter paramedic and then as a financial advisor with UBS, Chad jumped back into the family business which was a third generation business where he then grew the business in an immense way and managed a 95 person team.

That's kind of when I came into the picture. That's what he was doing when I started dating his daughter. Since then, he has taken on marriage coaching, entrepreneurial coaching. He has taken his family on big time ski tours around the country.

He has become an Iron Man triathlete. He has gotten his private pilot's license and he has also earned the top position in the family as the number one ranked boggle player within our family circle.

So again, wow, I still didn't want to prolong the intro and here we are still in the intro. So let's just jump in to today's episode.

Chad Johnson, I can't believe I feel like this has been such a long time coming on my end. I've been waiting with great anticipation to be able to have this conversation with you.

And so I'm blessed. It's crazy how, you know, it's just remarkable. I don't want to go on and on and on because I already did an introduction about you. We want to hear from you, we want to hear from you, everybody does.

But how blessed I am to have you in my life on every level. You know, I think that the sons and people that are new fathers asking for a Christian father in law is asking for a lot.

And then to think of all the things that are near and dear to my heart and how you've greatly impacted them, I could really get emotional talking about it.

So yeah, just thank you so much for taking the time to, you know, sit here and do this podcast. You've obviously poured into my life beyond what I'll be able to probably comprehend or quantify in my life.

But with all that said, Chad, can you just give a quick introduction to anybody that maybe doesn't know who you are, you know, Katie and I probably reference you in every episode.

But there still might be some people that haven't quite put the name to the face. And so can you introduce yourself and tell us what's happening in your life right now?

Absolutely. And Elijah, hearing your piece of it, I just want to tell you as a father, seeing what you have done in your life, in your family, with your love for the Lord, your love for Katie, what you guys are doing together to just touch lives.

And I'm in Florida this last weekend, and Elijah, a young lady that I've never met in my life said, can you tell Katie and Elijah, thank you for what they're doing.

And I know that what you're doing here in this space, you know, it's reaching people and it's touching lives and it's giving them hope and it's pointing to the Lord, it's pointing to each other.

And I just couldn't be more proud of you guys and grateful. So just very, very blessed to be here with you.
