And I have 6 spooky stories for you today and the last story comes from September 23rd 2021 and story number 1 comes from Helen.

About 10 years ago, I was in an abusive marriage.

My daughter was just a baby and I think I might have had post-natal depression too, so I was really very unhappy.

One night I woke up and I saw a little girl in a blue dress with a red ribbon skipping in and out of my room.

I was obviously asleep but I felt like I was completely awake.

I could see everything and hear the traffic outside the window too.

I wasn't scared of her. She just seemed to be happily playing.

I remember being half sat up in bed watching her, but she didn't seem to notice me at all.

Over the next few years my marriage got worse and worse and the little girl kept visiting me in my half-sleep every week or so.

The strange thing was is that every time she came to see me in the night she got a little bit older.

Most of the time she just sat at the end of my bed or sometimes she held my hand, but she always had her face turned away from me.
