The news of the day is, of course, the news of the week, the news of the NBA week.

That and the little thing called the finals.

And the finals, which are 3 and O and basically for all intents and purposes.

Over, Brian Colangelo has quote unquote resigned as president of basketball operations.

Brett Brown will move in as the lead decision maker on an interim basis.

The Sixers will begin a GM search, which they went back and forth between calling

Calangelo, the GM and the president of basketball operations.

It drives me insane.

They'll begin a search for the new lead basketball guy right away.

But Harris is not sure.

In fact, he doubts whether or not they will have that guy in place by July 1.

What was your biggest takeaway from today, Rich?

Man, there was so much.

I guess my main take was...

I guess let's back up for a second.

I think we both felt after the story broke that Calangelo couldn't survive this.

Yes.

And that is large...

The outside opinion that we shared with a lot of other people was that it was just an untenable situation, that he could not effectively do his job regardless of whether he knew about the accounts or not.
