Summary

This week, the guys are still on Cloud 9 after their amazing weekend. Nate, Brian, Aaron, and Dusty share behind the scene moments from their shows together in Johnson City and Nashville. Then, they get back to their animal fight brackets to debate more first round matchups like a polar bear vs. a tiger and an emu vs. a lion.

e-bike and he looks sleep. Hello folks and hey bear welcome to the Nate Land Podcast. We're here excited to be back a bit of a weekend. Yeah, well, we're

0:39.3

at least on the same place so we don't have to go around and ask everybody where they were at. But it was, yeah, it was a wild, wild weekend. You know, try to fix the microphone. It's fine. I'll do it. The guys don't worry about it. I guess I'll carry this podcast. I got to carry that show Saturday night. No, everyone.

1:08.3

It was a, so for those of you know, I'm maybe not everybody knows what went on. But we did Bridgestone Arena Johnson City on Friday night. Johnson City was great. Very cool. Yeah, I love that I finally got to not bomb in Johnson City. Yeah, it was great. You were deemed yourself. Yeah, yeah, yeah. They're excited when everybody came out and we got to hang out and played some, I'd say what we played little,

1:37.3

like a mini like ping pong, not pickleball, but ping pong, but on a tennis court, right with a tennis ball with a tennis ball. Isn't that called tennis? Well, it's, it's, it's close. We had tennis ball, pickleball, rackets. We just had what we had. And then we were on the tennis court, but we, we shrunk it in and we stood like in the middle. Yeah. And then we kind of played ping pong. And I mean, we're doing this. It's, you know, one of the most important things that we've ever done.

2:07.3

I mean, I mean, I'm wondering, lights likely cut on that, that ETSU and the high school or whatever. Yeah. And I got a little news for you. Oh, breakfast. Quite the player, dude. I had no idea. I heard this. Yeah. I had no idea. He was stressed where he was just dominating. He was a problem. Yeah.

2:33.3

And he has served is just it because we, so even picture a tennis court, you know, you got the very far back lines. And then, but like just the, the front lines that usually have to serve over, we were just standing in the two, the front squares. Yeah.

2:51.3

Pickleball is played. Now there's another line. But so we're just so the out of bounds was, yeah, we're in the middle. The four squares in the middle and out of bounds with the lines.

3:02.3

Because we're playing with tennis ball and these rackets. It's hard to hit for what's a pickleball racket look like just a wood. Just wouldn't paddle.

3:09.3

Oh, I wouldn't have. And so, you know, just trying to make up a game, you know, with what we got. And the game was very fun. Me and Aaron were on a team. And then baits play the whole time and then chase and Eric the barber and my son chase.

3:26.3

And this, they would switch. And I mean, it's baits. It's, it's, it's pretty crazy.

3:35.3

And if you're thinking baits handle this with a lot of grace, you are wrong. You are wrong. He started talking serious trash.

3:42.3

Loud, loud, loud. And then I would make a point of he would be so condescending. Good work, big guy. You did. You did it. You got one nice job, big fellow. So what happened?

3:50.3

Is this some skill that you knew you had that you've not shared with people or?

3:54.3

Now my goal was just aim for Nate's head. Okay. Well, it was someone as old as you in that late. Those are things that don't go together. Yeah. And moving. So this is, I mean, it was, we watched a true, you know, like Michael Jordan flu game.

4:13.3

Of you, but his flu is it was just late at night. His flu is late at night. Yeah. Yeah.

4:20.3

Of this made up ping pong tennis pickleball racquet game. What if late nights are like the thing that you like that's when your secret power comes out.

4:30.3

What have been sleeping all this? Yeah. What a, yeah. Like older people just go like if they only knew how the muscles just move.

4:39.3

Or you saw you weren't even sore the next day. You felt fine. The moon light comes in and just yeah, it's not he doesn't, you know, he doesn't move.

4:47.3

It's like a way to move to the purpose. Yeah. It's a, I would say it's like Carmelo Anthony in basketball. It's cool.

4:54.3

Yeah. Carmelo, when you watch him play was like never, he was so good, but he never looked like he was the fastest person out there.

5:01.3

But he just, you couldn't stop the move. Right. And that's what it was with baits, but he was just, and then he would serve it where you would just get caught like it's so far back.
