| 2:02.5 | books, et cetera. It's a tricky question for me to answer because sure, there are classic books |
| 2:11.9 | that I have read and benefited from, but there are also a longer list of books that met me along the way |
| 2:22.3 | at critical seasons. And those books have sustained me and strengthened me and sharpened me over |
| 2:30.8 | the years. This little book, A Celebration of Ministry, is one such book. It's not deep at all. |
| 2:39.9 | It just is a reminder about the joy of ministry. It warns that sometimes we get discouraged in |
| 2:49.8 | ministry because we focus on the things that are not going |
| 2:52.6 | right. And we forget to celebrate the joys, the blessings, the privileges of ministry. |
| 3:01.6 | In that book, Seaborne says, our problem is that we just glance at God, but we gaze at Goliath. He's right. He adds that even a penny can block the sunshine if you put it close enough to your eyes. His point is that a lot of times we feel burdened and frustrated and discouraged because we are focusing on the wrong things. |
