Simultaneously at one of my most favorite and least favorite events of the season.

I'm good, man. It would be dope.

It would be dope to play in Los Angeles.

You know, I think the first

combine I went to was 2010.

DeMarcus cousins, John Waldruff. I believe that was 2010. And the first year I went out there, it's like, oh, man, this is incredible. I'm going to get to interview all of these really great draft prospects. That was back when the really great draft prospects went to it. And over the years, you know, eventually it then moved to attack and quest, which is a gym, and they had basketball activity.

It's like, oh, great, I'm going to be able to watch, you know, these guys play basketball,

and then you realize it's mostly second rounders and it's not great basketball.

And over time, you just kind of get, like, so frustrated with what the event is.

Because, like, everything, you get 10 to 12 minutes with these guys

and there's five or six you know jackasses like that guy who just want to get sound bites for

you know to pander their fans like oh how great would it be if you got to play with with jerry west

or not with jerry west but you know be mentored by jerry west or how great would it be if you got to talk to Phil Jackson was a great one over the years? Or how incredible was it when you met Pat Riley for the first time? And all the time they're just kissing ass so blatantly to their fan base. And it's just like, I have 12 minutes with these guys. There's five of you jackasses asking these questions from different cities.

And by the time you're done, there's no real content being, like, there's no actual, and it's not like you go there with hard-hitting journalism. But by God, I'd like to ask Lonnie Walker how his meniscus or his ankle is doing. You know what I mean? Like, the, oh, but it's still a great event because there's everyone there. There's every GM, every assistant GM, every scouting director.

It's great from that regard, and that's why I still go. Getting actual

content from it is a colossal waste of time. I like that the three names you brought up are

all over 70 years old too. Well, because they're like the living legends. I was going for

a living legends. I'm going for the living legends.
