Welcome to Java with Julie, and I just got to tell you, this is going to be a very fun, unique conversation.

I've been looking forward to this conversation for, like, I'd say, like, six months.

Esther, you and I tried to do this a while back and Back in October. We couldn't get our schedules to coordinate, so this has been on my heart

to do for quite a while. So I'm going to introduce you, Esther Troyer and Phyllis, what's your

last name, Phyllis? I forget. Bear. Bear. That's That's easy. Hillis Fair, yeah. And you two live in Ohio, and we've connected over the last, how long has it been, Esther, like two years? Yeah, I think it was your first conference in Akron, the very first one. It was about two and a half years ago. Yeah. Yeah. Just that Friday night conference for you at that.

I was at that and you and I connected just a little bit. Then I came back for the Passion Pursuit Bible study leaders the next day.

Uh-huh. And then you were in Lima. Yes, Lima, Ohio. Uh-huh. Okay, so radio, there's no visual. So people won't know that your old order, Mennonite. Did I get that right? Old order? No, we're just Mennonite. And I guess that even shows my ignorance right there. Like, I don't know the difference between a lot of people don't. Mennonite, Old Order, Mennonite, Amish. What is the difference? You know, I would probably say basically our belief system is the same.

It's just a different application.

The principles are all the same.

We believe, you know, in modesty.

We believe in having our heads covered because of taking the New Testament literally.

Uh-huh.

But I would say the way that we practice it then is different.

In terms of just the extremes of how you apply that.
