Summary

The Eights in the Tarot are invitations for transformation. We go into each of these cards one way, and come out of them differently, like a butterfly emerging from its cocoon. With all of the Eights, we walk a powerful journey of reckoning, inquiry, choice, grief, experience, and realization, growing and evolving with every step. We learn that transformation is a process, one that happens over time, that requires strength, dedication, patience, and courage of the heart. 0:28.2	So we are diving into the Ate's today which I think is quite fitting since we looked
0:34.1	to the fours a couple weeks ago and you know the Ate's at their root, at their core are
0:41.8	about transformation and emergence.
0:45.5	Really what it is to shift, to shed, to go into that cocoon and come out as a butterfly.
0:56.2	Like what is that alchemical process like?
1:01.1	So much of that is contained in the Ate's which are such unbelievably sacred, hugely exciting,
1:10.6	wonderful cards to form kind of deeper bonds with and beyond that I think it's quite timely
1:19.2	to talk about them since we are entering into to put it mildly a time of huge potential
1:26.2	transformation in the coming month and especially next year we're moving into the eclipse portal
1:34.5	that will take us through November 30th all the way to December 14th and then one week
1:42.0	later we'll be moving through the solstice and the great conjunction both happening on December
1:47.2	21st and the great conjunction in and of it.
1:52.5	These are radically transformative kind of portals for very accelerated growth and really
2:03.0	I like to think of the energy of eclipses as kind of like getting a haircut where you
2:10.9	can and should absolutely come in with a clear view about what you would like but it's
2:17.1	almost like putting yourself in the hands of a tremendously gifted and talented stylist
2:23.0	who will really has a vision for your hair that the best thing you can do the eclipse energies
2:33.2	kind of hang out and let your hair get cut and let whatever wants to fall away or whatever
