Hello and welcome back to Cult Leader. I'm your Cult Leader, Spencer Henry, and it's Friday. You know what that means, Baves? It's time for a little leader.

0:48.0

If you're new here, little leaders are where I read the stories that you all send to me. If you have a story you would like to hear on an upcoming little leader, go ahead and send it on over to Spencer at Cult Leader.com.

0:59.0

And make sure to put little leader somewhere in the title or the subject just somewhere in there so I can find it.

Intuition test time. Where am I sitting right now? If you guessed on the floor, you'd be right. Because I am sitting on the floor.

1:16.0

Last night Madison was here, we were recording some stuff for next week's obituary, and we decided to sit on the floor. She's like, should we just sit on the floor today?

1:25.0

And I was like, sure. I'll go with it. I'm into that vibe this morning. I was like, you know, I think I'm going to sit on the floor again. I like to, I feel grounded. It feels nice.

1:35.0

Okay, so Monday on Monday's episode of Cult Leader, we talked about the murder of Susan Bailey in Roanoke, Texas. And for that episode, I read a book called Let's Kill Mom by Donna Fielder.

1:48.0

And here's the thing, I have a lot of books, too many books. Don't have enough room for them. I was talking to Olivia actually and I was like, you know what? I should just give away the books that I read because I have so many of them might have even been her idea.

2:02.0

And so that's what I'm going to do. Okay, I'm going to do a book giveaway. I was like, is it weird if I'm like giving away a book that I've already read?

2:09.0

Like, there's creases on the pages that I saved and stuff. And she's like, no, I think it's cool. And I was like, all right, don't know how I'm going to do it.

2:16.0

I will do it most likely on Instagram in the next couple days here. So follow along online at Cult Leader Podcast, we're at Spencer Henry. I'll post it somewhere. And whoever wins the giveaway, I will send the book that I read.

2:31.0

All right, you would know don't it. How about that? It will be US only. And that is because the mail system, don't get mad at me. Get mad at the mail system.

2:39.0

Because guess what? Every time I ship stuff internationally, there's always some hiccups. And I just don't feel like dealing with it.

2:46.0

On this week's obituary that will have, it'll be out by the time you listen to this. We talked about famous last words. And we talked about, you know how people always say, like, oh, your nails and your hair continue to grow after you die. But blah, blah.

3:01.0

Well, there is some truth to it, but there is some stuff that I debunked on the obituary episode. So if you want to check that out, that is up there. And then of course there's obituary's and dumb criminals as there is every episode, check it out if you haven't already. And rate and review if you haven't already.

3:17.0

Especially since that's a new show, it really helps give it a good, a good push. All right, I talked a little bit about fear street. I haven't had a chance to rewatch the first one or watch the second one yet.

3:31.0

And I have so much time to just watch the things that I want to watch because it has been busy lately. I've gotten so many emails, more emails than probably ever before. I want to include so many of these stories in my little leaders. And I'm like, I have to wait. I have to put some on next week's because otherwise it would be a long leader. And that's not the vibe we're going for. These are the little. They're supposed to be little.

3:56.0

It's funny because I feel like a lot of the older cult leader episodes used to be like 20-ish minutes long. And now I realized I'm like, the past couple have all been close to an hour, like 40 minutes to an hour. I feel like ever since the Marilyn Monroe one, I don't know what happened. I don't really have an answer as to why, but that's just what's been happening.

4:15.0

But little leaders and regular cult leaders used to be like the same amount of time they were both like 20-something minutes. So we can't go completely off the route. We can't have super long cult leaders and super long little leaders. That would just be ridiculous. That would be gauche.

4:29.0

First email. Hello Spencer. My name is Bree from Boston, Boston. First off, I want to say you are secretly my best friend and I non-stop brag about your podcast to all my friends and family and tell them all they need to listen to it.

4:43.0

Anyway, Bree, thank you. Anyways, about your latest podcast murder in Rewan Oak, you talked about people coming up with personas, vamps, werewolves, etc.
