For as long as the Mormon Internet has existed, Ex-Mormon women have been expressing concerns about abusive behavior by Ex-Mormon men.
Today a panel of Ex-Mormon women come together on Mormon Stories Podcast to introduce athe following six concepts: 1) Consent, 2) Deference to Patriarchy, 3) Gender Roles, 4) Modesty, 5) Sex Shaming, and 6) Victim Blaming.
The intent of this episode is to help educate Ex-Mormon men about how to treat Ex-Mormon women, particularly online and in Ex-Mormon communities.
Participants in the panel are: Hannah Dunnigan, Sarah Hess, Margaret Frances Phillips, and Elisha Lee.

0:43.1 | up in Northern California with a family of nine kids. My parents were very, very devout |
0:48.3 | Mormons. My mom got us up for a devotional every morning at six o'clock in the morning. |
0:53.4 | My dad was a bishop and state president. And we were very Mormon family. But we had a |
1:00.1 | great awesome childhood. I ended up going on a mission to Australia and I served actually |
1:07.1 | for almost two years because I got extended about three months. And I really loved my |
1:12.8 | mission. It was a great experience. It's probably one of the reasons why I stayed in the |
1:17.9 | church for so long because I had so many experiences that were very faith promoting and testimony |
1:23.8 | building. When I got home from my mission, I started university and I met my husband. |
1:30.9 | And my husband and I were married about a year after we met. And let's see, we have |
1:37.8 | four kids and we've been married about 15 years now. I'm actually in a mixed faith marriage. |
1:44.2 | So he is still a devout member of the church. We've been able to make things work. And he's |
1:50.3 | been very understanding and very accepting of my faith transition. So that's been really |
1:56.0 | good. And we're just, we're just to make in it one, one day at a time. I'm, I'm actually |
