Hello everyone and welcome to another episode of Mormon Stories. I'm your host, Hannah.

I am super excited to be here tonight. The normal host, John Dillin, has asked us to come

on and talk about unlearning misogyny with Mormonism and also in the ex-mormon community.

With me tonight, I have Sarah and Maggie Babylon and Alicia. And we're really excited to

be here today and to talk to you a little bit about our experience as women in the Mormon

church. So I'm going to go ahead and start off by introducing myself and it's just going

to be kind of three minutes introduction. So you'll just get a little taste. But I grew

up in Northern California with a family of nine kids. My parents were very, very devout

Mormons. My mom got us up for a devotional every morning at six o'clock in the morning.

My dad was a bishop and state president. And we were very Mormon family. But we had a

great awesome childhood. I ended up going on a mission to Australia and I served actually

for almost two years because I got extended about three months. And I really loved my

mission. It was a great experience. It's probably one of the reasons why I stayed in the

church for so long because I had so many experiences that were very faith promoting and testimony

building. When I got home from my mission, I started university and I met my husband.

And my husband and I were married about a year after we met. And let's see, we have

four kids and we've been married about 15 years now. I'm actually in a mixed faith marriage.

So he is still a devout member of the church. We've been able to make things work. And he's

been very understanding and very accepting of my faith transition. So that's been really

good. And we're just, we're just to make in it one, one day at a time. I'm, I'm actually

a career woman, which makes me a little bit of an alien in the Mormon community. But I

have really enjoyed my career. I am a CEO of a, of, of Mitzice company. And I, I really,
