MD, she is an assistant professor at Oregon Health and Sciences University, OHSU, and serves as the Geriatrics Medicine Fellowship Director at OHSU.

She is also the Medical Director of the Wound Healing Program at the Portland VA Healthcare System.

She graduated from the Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center, Harvard Geriatrics Fellowship Program in 2009.

Her second year of fellowship was dedicated to chronic wound healing and clinician education.

She now provides consultative care for complex wounds for veterans at the VA, PhD, CS, and serves as the chair of the prevention of amputations of veterans everywhere committee.
