and the founder and director of proclaiming the gospel ministry will talk a little bit about his own

personal life and testimony and the ministry that God is entrusted to him around the world.

Yeah, so for those who may not know you, would you tell us a little bit about your personal background?

Well, sure. I was a devout Roman Catholic for 35 years and came from a very devout family.

My uncle was a Catholic priest.

And we actually lived over in his ministry area in Burma for seven months and got to visit a lot of what he was doing over there,

converting the Burmese to Roman Catholicism.

And so I continued on as a very devout Catholic, and I was involved in a seminar that I understood

for the first time that the Bible needed to become my supreme authority in all matters of faith.

For 35 years, I'd never opened it. Oh, I had a Bible that collected dust on my coffee table, but I never opened it.

Until that time when I found out it is the supreme authority, and so I began reading it.

And that's when I had a crisis of faith because what I was

reading was a plan of salvation that was diametrically opposed to what I'd been taught as a Catholic

and so I did the wrong thing I called my uncle and I said why does the Catholic church teach a different

way of salvation than the Bible and he said said, well, that's not true.
