Yo, today's QOD is everybody's after your mind. Here we go.

Welcome back to the quote of the day show. I'm your host Sean Crox and a Sean Crox and

Taccom. We got the Reverend Ike closing out the week and today he's going to talk about

how you must protect your mind. There are so many sources of negativity, whether it's the

media, it's other people. I mean, I can just go on and on and we have to be aware of the

fact that people are trying to control our minds, they're trying to introduce their doubts

and their negativity and they want us to take it on. But the beautiful thing about your conscious

mind is that your conscious mind has the ability to accept and to reject incoming information.

A lot of people don't use that for some reason, but you do have that choice to be like, nah,

that doesn't fit. Nah, I choose not to believe that. Nah, I'll leave that alone. Nah,

that that's not really for me. Nah, I'm not going to introduce your doubt into my mind to

add to all the other stuff I've got going on. Like, I'm just going to leave this here. And so use this.

Be very selective about what you take in because what you take in is usually what you put out in

your life. And it dictates the results that you get. Reverend Ike, he's coming up.

Moses and the children of Israel were on the brink of the promised land and Moses, the leader of

God's people, sent a committee to spy out the land. Now, that's why I've never done too

much with committees. I tried it in this church. Now, all committees are not bad, but this one was a blip.

Because you see in a committee, you have sometimes people of different minds and some have hidden

the judges. Someone has said, never underestimate the power of a committee to mess up a good idea.

So Moses sent a committee of the children up the spy out the lands that go on up there and look at the

land and find out what kind of people are there with their bad motor scooters. And find out if there's fruit in the

land. It's a rich land. One of the products, the produce there, come back and give a report.
