Perfume, this podcast, my life would not be what it is without the many queer voices who have paved the way. I am

incredible fragrances that you create. So thank you and happy pride. Let's get to the end of the day.

Today it's two cents, one on each respective wrist. I am wearing

primal yell and sublimate, which are the two cents in Amphora Parfam's debut introductory collection.

Amphora is an indie artisan brand from the brain and nose of Noah Virgil. Let's first discuss

primal yell. This one is wild. It took me a second to sort of even

like collect my thoughts on it. When I first sprayed it, I got an overwhelming sort of like boozy,

but spicy and a little bit fecal kind of cherry tobacco scent. It's a little bit cigarettey,

but it's also distinctly industrial. It

almost remind me of the smell of like burning rubber. And the copy for this fragrance reads,

How long must you scream before someone hears you? And the image that it's paired with is a

newspaper that's been set on fire. This is a very hindsight association for me. I can't say I initially

got like a sort of like newspaper accord, but after seeing that visual, I can't unsmell it. Maybe

that's what I was getting as the sort of burning rubber sensation. It's inky and it's papery,

but it feels burning. It feels intense. It feels sort of intentionally suffocating. And I think you

really start to feel the labdanum

in the heart and in the dry down of this fragrance. Labdanum for me feels like cold and stony and still

sort of like resinous but like distinctly fresh. And as this fragrance opens up, don't get me wrong,

it still feels kind of like heavy and piercing throughout the whole air, but it feels like
