Today I'll talk about a eucharistic miracle that's along the

Camino de Santiago, but first we passed into Galicia today.

Galicia is green, it looks like Ireland, and the people are Galician which derives from Gaelic or

Celtic. We've seen some red-headed ladies around here and they say that's because they're

Galician so it's kind of neat to see this

this ethnicity up in the upper western corner of Spain pushed all the way out there

probably by the Visigoths and the Moors.

We, as we entered into Galicia today, we left, went through Villafronka,

and there's an enormous hill, a mountain, and it's recommended even by the cycling company that if you're not real strong, this would be a day to walk up this ascent because the cycling element is very difficult and as I mentioned in yesterday's mini

podcast I had a really hard time going up the ascent to the Iron Cross so I

decided today I take the way of the pilgrim by foot and I'm glad I did because so far has been the most rewarding day.

I started going up and along the way I met cows and pilgrims and the pace was much more slower and relaxed and

When you're on foot you meet all kinds of people from all over the world and you talk and along the way I met up with a Canadian man who was a Methodist minister and his wife and they were on the communal they were just doing a shorter version of the

the communal little about 110, 120 kilometers so they had just gotten started and we had a great time

talking and of course they weren't Catholic. So I asked them why they're on the communal and we had a good talk about that and I was actually baptized as a Methodist as a

Methodist as a kid so we talked about the Methodist Church and talked about Catholicism and all that and it was

it was fun and the time flew by we were hiking and hiking

but before we knew it we arrived into the town of O'Sebrero, which is the location of a medieval

eucharistic miracle.
