Thank you. Yes, this is an exciting day. And like you said, this is my first podcast, my first time putting my voice out there.

But I'm excited to have been invited. And I did love that quote, by the way. That is a good idea.

I have some money in the bank first before you start splurging. Could be, you know, so many doctors.

Do the splurge. I don't know, towards the end of residency or maybe when they first signed a contract. So I was one of them too.

For sure. All right, well, let's start with some of the softball questions. What was it that I mean, you're kind of unique in that you're a physician on fire.

And in the fire community, you're definitely the most prominent physician writer out there.

But why did you end up going to medical school in the first place? Why did you decide to be a physician?
