Summary

Everyone has a philosophy. It's what influences the way you see things, the way you make decisions, the way you respond to people, and more. The question isn't whether or not you have a philosophy. More importantly, what is your philosophy and where is it taking you? In this episode, Dave shares some elements of his own philosophy to help you develop, define, or tweak your own philosophy so that you become unstoppable.

Welcome to the Game Changer Life. I'm Dave Anderson.

Want to talk with you about the unstoppable philosophy. The unstoppable philosophy. Everybody's got a philosophy.

0:25.4

The question is, what's it doing for you? Where's it taking you? Right? I mean, if you have a philosophy

0:31.9

that when something goes wrong, you're going to make an excuse, that's your philosophy. All right? I'm

0:37.0

going to make an excuse to explain away why things didn't work out well. If you're always measuring yourself against

0:44.7

others, rather than measuring yourself as to how you used to be, that's your philosophy. All right,

0:50.4

it's your choice. You get to choose your philosophy, but that's what it is. It's not some big, fancy term. You have to really spend a lot of time trying to figure out what's it mean. Whatever filter you're using for how you see things, how you make decisions, how you respond to people, that's all based on your philosophy. And if you want to change your life, you've got to change your philosophy. Jim Rohn said that. If you want to change your life, change your philosophy. If you feel like it's your job to put everyone in their place, right, to silence them, to always have the last word, all right, I'm not judging right or wrong, I'm just saying that's your philosophy. It's probably wrong.

1:33.8

you know, tools to get what you want, you find a way to use them to leverage them, rather than seeing

1:39.3

other people as an opportunity to help and to serve, that's your philosophy.

1:48.7

If no matter what anybody does, you've got to top it, that's your philosophy.

1:50.3

Maybe you know some people like that.

1:52.9

They usually, you know, die broken alone.

1:54.1

No one wants to be around them.

1:55.2

No one wants to employ them.

1:58.0

But that's just the kind of people they are.

2:01.1

If no matter what you do, you want to make it all about you.

2:06.7

Okay, you're going to be the center of everything. Then some people, I mean, they just have to have the attention. That's your philosophy. You're going to go into a situation and you're going to

2:11.3

do something even consciously or unconsciously that makes it all about you to get attention.

2:17.2

And so the question is never,

2:19.5

you know, do you have a philosophy? Of course you have one. And it is, it's influencing, again,

2:24.0

as I said earlier, how you make decisions, how you see things, how you respond to what goes around
