I went with This Charming Man because it is one of my favorite songs.

And I think you knew that and you picked this one on purpose to put me behind the eight ball.

I swear.

You know what? That's actually not true. I picked, so originally when we did this, I said Friday I'm in Love by The Cure. Yeah, and you called Naudible right at the very end.

And you know, what's interesting is that it's not because I prefer Boys Don't Cry. And point

of fact, Friday I'm in love is my favorite cure song. It's probably my top five favorite songs, period.

Mm-hmm.

You had pointed out that Friday I'm in love is kind of not, it's an acridistic in the

sense that it's not an 80s song.

I mean, this is actually not, this is also not an 80s song, technically.

Oh, yeah.

It's technically 1979. Technically, 1979, but it's more in line with the kind of music that The Cure was making at the time that the Smiths were making The Charming Man.

Yeah, there's about a five-year gap between them, but that's a much better fit.

Like, that was, like, the Cure's first big hit. This is the Smith's first big hit. I think they'd release singles before them that didn't really go anywhere. Yeah. I don't want to call out people by name, but somebody said that these two songs were
