Tara was stalked by her abusive ex-boyfriend. While online dating, Tara formed a quick friendship with a man she met. He needed a place to stay, so she offered him a spare room in her house, leading to a romantic relationship. Shortly after moving in together, he became abusive. He drugged Tara, cut her water and electric lines, tried to set her house on fire, and smashed her stove and TV with a baseball bat. She kicked him out, but he called repeatedly, broke into her home, and sent death threats detailing how he would kill her. One of Tara's Facebook friends, Nikki, reached out to Tara after she realized they had both dated the same man. Together they discovered several other women he had stalked. Nikki also joins us on this episode and previously revealed her own story on Strictly Stalking Episode 123, "Under His Influence."
