Long-time analog listeners will remember mine and your discussion about a Twitter white whale.

This was an individual that we both had in our heart of hearts that we one day wished would grace us with a follow on

Twitter, that they would be interested enough in us that they would follow us.

And we both had our white whales, but we never shared who the white whale was to save

that person from ever having to hear it or be bothered by it, you know?

Like, such and such person says to such and such person, oh, hey, you're Casey's White Whale.

Right.

And then that person has to then understand what that's all about.

Well, on Dubai Friday, episode 92, you shared your white whale because to make fun of Merlin, Max and Alex, because Merlin has stepped away from Twitter for a while, they created an audio version of Twitter for him in which you told Merlin and the rest of the Dubai Friday

powder nation that you uh your white whale was Merlin that's correct I cannot fathom why

you did that and also what I liked about it as Merlin mentioned and you did it about it, as Merlin mentioned, and you did, it made it sound like

Merlin had died and you were like speaking in memoriam of him, which it was really funny at

the time, especially because he noted it while she was speaking.

He was just like, have I died?

I got a big kick out of that.

So I just wonder why did you, why did you share that?

So the background is Max had emailed a whole bunch of us and given us little to no guidance, which I'm sure was deliberate.

And I don't have the email in front of me and I probably shouldn't read it on the air anyway.

But he basically said, hey, can I, um, can I record or can, can, can each of you record a little

snippet from Merlin, you know, something like a tweet and send it to me over the next few days?

And that was basically all the guidance I got.
