Lorian McKenna and today we are thrilled to be joined by writer director and

now feature director Charlie Day. Well thanks for having me.

Oh yeah I'm happy to be here.

Charlie is one of the most recognizable comic voices in our business starring on the hit FX show,

It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia, which he also executive produces and writes for.

Charlie's new film and feature directorial debut,

Fool's Paradise drops on May 11th,

and we'll be discussing that film today.

But before we do, we just want to welcome Charlie and talk about our weeks. So welcome to the show.

it's so hard to understand and figure out and do so maybe we'll open open some

inspire each other in some ways and

Absolutely it's some new tools absolutely and you've you've your game to talk about your week so we'll let Lorian go first.

Lorian how was your week?

My week has been good.

I've been doing a lot of not writing and doing other things.

So today my manager called me and said,

hey, where's your script?

And I said, oh, well, I'm doing this and this and this.

And I had all these other things to talk about.

And he's like, uh huh, uh huh.
