On the afternoon of April 15th, 1994, Danielle Quinn and Donald Ewing sat in a powder-blue

Cadillac when a man dressed in black pumped four shotgun rounds into the car, killing the

two men.

Within six hours of the crime, Kansas City Cases Police Detective Roger Golubsky began

the process of framing Lamont McIntyre, who was 17 at the time, for two counts of first

degree murder.

Why did he do this?

Because Lamont's mother had refused Golubsky's repeated sexual advances.

But without any physical evidence whatsoever to link Lamont to the crime, Golubsky and

the state would rely on mistaken eyewitness identification to seal Lamont's fate.

And to make matters even worse, Lamont was represented a trial by a public defender

who would later be disbarred for failing to diligently handle three other cases.

All of this resulted in his wrongful conviction and being sentenced to two consecutive life

prison terms.
