Well, hello there, top teachers. Today, I am your solo host, Bridget Spackman, and I am here to make

So you all know when it's solo host time, it's week in the life. So I am going to be sharing

with you all a week in the life as I manage my to-dos, have kids here in the house over the summer, manage some different projects, and hopefully give you all some tips, ideas of what my summer looks like as a mom, a teacher, and a business owner.

So at the time of recording this, it is the beginning of July. It is actually July

3rd, to be exact. June was a very, very busy month for me. I was accepting a new position,

which I have officially announced over on my YouTube channel. I announced it today. So I've

accepted a new position as a fourth grade, ELA and social studies. So I've accepted a new position as a fourth grade

ELA and social studies teacher. I resigned from my position as a multi-age teacher in my old

district. We had a family trip to Houston, which was probably a good 10 to 11 day trip because

we had to drive. So it took us two days to drive there and then two days

back. Each of those days, guys, was an 11-hour drive. We did it though. Very, very proud of our family.

The boys did a fantastic job for being in the car for so long. At the end of the month, Michelle came over to do batch planning live for EB academics,

so we did like a virtual presentation for that.

So I really haven't had a week where I didn't have either people here or big pressing projects

going on.

So I'm very, very excited for a little bit of normalcy

and just kind of come after the storm of what June was.
