We're often tempted to be a priest for our kids standing in between God and our kids and telling

the kid what God meant and telling God what the kid meant.

And she said, no, we should get out of the way and turn them over to God as soon as possible

because that way, when the kid as a natural part of growing up rejects their parents' values, they won't reject

God because God is theirs.
