I'm here to help you this morning, get your mind straight according to God's truth.

For this day, that's all we're concerned about in these morning mindsets,

is that you think rightly about God, about yourself, about other people, and about your place in this world.

And we've been looking at Romans chapter 8

and we just finished up the first paragraph so to speak

verses 1 through 8 and he's been talking about the difference

that happens in our lives when we choose to either set our mind on the things of

the spirit or to set our minds on the things of the of the spirit or to set our minds on the things of the flesh.

In verse number nine he gives us this reassurance, this very

encouraging statement at least it feels that way to me. He says you however

are not in the flesh but in the spirit if in fact the spirit of God

dwells in you. Now that's probably all that we're going to look at

today because I think there is so much here that's a benefit and a value to us if we'll

just stop and consider it for a moment.

And we all know what it's like to have said or done or behaved or expressed an attitude in a way that is of what Paul calls the flesh.

You know, it's petty, it's impatient, it's irritable, it's angry in a negative sort of a way

towards someone. We know what that's like, we know that feeling, right?
