Hello and welcome back to Cult Leader. I'm your Cult Leader Spencer Henry. How's it going? How's it been last week?

We talked about the rise and fall of synonym, which is one of my favorite stories. It's such an interesting cult story to me.

I was laughing at all the comments on the post last night, which I'm awful. That was the first time looking at their comments.

This will last a week or two. I just have not been able to keep up with online stuff from DMs to text to phone calls. I have just been not good at the phone.

I swear more often than not, I would like to just throw my phone out of a window, you know. I don't even like to, I don't need texting. I just want to get a flip phone.

Just phone calls only where I can just slam that baby shut right after. Unfortunately, a lot of my life revolves around emails. Olivia, my sister, who I feel like you guys all know by now.

She actually, at one time she was in Chicago where something and she dropped her phone and she was like, you know what? I don't want another iPhone and she's not on social media or anything, but she was just like, I don't want it.

So she got a flip phone and she had that for like a year. I was actually really impressed. The only difficult thing I think was getting directions, which honestly I would be lost probably all the time.

If I didn't have ways or maps, ways, you know what? Honestly, fuck ways. Sorry, but it never loads fast enough. Ways is not what you want when you're in a jam.

Cut to me doing an ad for ways and like a month and like, ways is exactly what you need. Never. No, it's just, you know what? Speed it up. Make it make it faster ways. That's my gripe.

Do you remember when you would have to like print out directions to like go anywhere? I remember being younger and I'd be like, mom, can I go to blah blah blah house and she'd be like, yeop, print out the directions.

Some of you are probably like, yeah, oh my god, I remember doing that too. And then some of you are like, you're old because some of you were born after 2000, which is the most insane thing. I guess not anymore.

If you were born in 2021 now, welcome to adulthood babes. Speaking of Olivia, actually, I'm so excited. She is coming to visit me this week. I have the room already for her.

So excited. She's the first guest in the guest room with the fucking nightmare sleeper sofa Madison and I ran to IKEA a few days ago because I needed new curtains in there and I needed bedding for that bed.

It was insane. Like going to IKEA is a full on experience afterwards. I felt like I'd run a marathon, which like, does that just happen after your 30? Are you like tired from running one errand? Say yes.

I go to work and then I go to the gym and then I do it. It's like, okay, I get it. We know we get it.

Blah blah blah. And please don't let this be a thing. I don't want to just start start ranting. I am grateful.

Okay, let's talk about gratitude for a second because I'm doing the magic right now, which if you haven't heard of it, it's from like the people that did the secret or whatever.

It's just about practicing gratitude in your daily life. And so I am trying to have a positive mindset and, you know, be careful with putting any negativity out there. So we'll say we'll say I'm grateful for getting older.
