Our guest today is Walter Isixen.

He's written books about such figures as Albert Einstein and Benjamin Franklin, and

his authorized biography of Steve Jobs became one of the best-selling

He's been the chairman and CEO of CNN and the managing editor of Time magazine and is currently the president and CEO of the Aspen Institute.

His new book is called The Innovators, how a group of hackers, geniuses, and geeks created

the digital revolution. And as you can probably tell from that bio, Walter has a very busy schedule,

and it took a couple weeks before he was able to squeeze us in for a phone call,

and that was in between two meetings he had.

And unfortunately, the audio quality on that call wasn't the greatest,

but given the circumstances we were just happy to be able to get him on the phone.
