Now I plan to answer two questions today, but the first question has three really important areas to cover and I want to have time to get to each of those areas.

So, but let's get to the question first.

This week's question is about how and when to leave a toddler at daycare or preschool to make it the easiest transition as possible.

The question today is about transitioning to daycare.

Our little one started daycare when he was around nine months old and was there

for about four months until we decided to withdraw him from daycare. It was not a good experience. He never

fully adapted and he had three different teachers in that period of time. Plus he was sick all the time.

He cried every time we left him there and every time we saw on the camera. He was playing by himself

all alone and not participating in any on the camera, he was playing by himself all alone

and not participating in any of the activities or interacting with other kids who were mostly a year

older than him. Still, he does not like going to hang out with kids around his same age, though

he loves hanging out with older kids and adults. We think that it's important for him to develop

social skills with peers, and we would like him to attend a daycare for three days a week at least.
