He worked in retail, and that was how he built his career, and he was doing very, very well when all of a sudden his job just vanished.

It was fortune 500 size companies he was working for very loyally, doing a great job for them.

But bam, his job was over.

It's Tim and Julie Simmons on today's show.

They live outside of Nashville, Tennessee. They've

homeschooled their kids for years. They're in their 60s now. Their kids are in their 30s,

and they are employing three of their kids in their business. So it's a family business.

They've built it up to seven figures. They're doing about 70 to 80% retail arbitrage.

That means they're buying stuff off of store shelves and flipping it very profitably on Amazon.

What an interesting family.

time today. How are you guys doing? Oh, we're great. We're rocking and rolling. It's back to school time. That's right. It's like the many version of Q4 right before the

big Christmas shopping season hits is back to school. And you guys have actually said,

you like this time of year as much as Christmas, right, with your business model?

We actually make more right now.

Christmas is second. I think January is probably our fourth biggest month. Wow. We actually,

we steered away from the toys. We'll get into that and tell you how we evolved. But I think 2014 was our, we discovered toys then.
