Well, it finally happened. I spilled most of a glass of water across my keyboard, my nice keyboard a couple days ago.

What are we talking about like four fluid ounces or like 12 fluid ounces?

Okay, here's the offending glass.

Wow, that's a big old cup.

I'd say in fact, the amount of water in this glass as we speak is maybe a little less than this.

It was maybe about half.

I'm guessing like six, six, 7 fluid ounces probably there.

I would say at least there was a large puddle on the desk.

And the keyboard, I think, is the only electronic device that really got the brunt of it.

Did it go inside the keyboard?

Apple magic key. I think they call it magic keyboard now. It's the Bluetooth, beautiful size Bluetooth

aluminum. You know how you let the magic out, right? How is that? You put water on it. Oh, that's no. I didn't. Does this still work? All the keys.

So I immediately set about letting it dry for, let's say, 30 minutes.

I probably should not have turned it back on as fast as I did.

That's a little less time than I would have gone with, probably.

I had work to do.
