What's up, everybody? Welcome back to another episode of Youth Group Chronicles. Joining me for

the first time here on the show, I have Jalen Smolin. Yo, yo, what's up? Welcome, bro. Good to

heavy here. This is exciting. Yeah, man, I'm pumped. I've been seeing like all the clips, so it's

like I had to hop on, man. Let's go. you know, I'll start pulling some stories from people and seeing what's out there because I don't

have any crazy stories. And then I started remembering, oh, you know what? That reminds me of this.

And that reminds me of this. And there's some up there. So we'll definitely get into those.

We have some email submissions that we'll dive into first. So people have been emailing these in.

So the first story we have here is from Matthew Y. He said, before our church hired me as

youth pastor, they had me visit an interview. During the few days that I was at the church,

they had a youth activity with a bonfire as a way to let us interact with possible future ministry like the kids.

So as I interacted with the youth, I for some reason decided it would be a good idea to show them a trick.

Now, this trick was throwing a soda can into the bonfire and then letting it explode.

Now, they all thought it was an awesome idea,

but when the can exploded,

it sprayed boiling liquid all over a bunch of the teens.
