On February 14, 2013, a single father named JD Shrieves dropped off his daughters to see their grandmother for Valentine's Day.

When he got back to the house, he thought he smelled something burning.

He walked around but couldn't find the source, so he thought he was imagining things.

When the girls got back, they said they smelled something too.

Now JD took his flashlight and went outside to check around.

He found that a piece of siding had been pulled back and someone had stepped a lit piece of cloth into the boards behind it.

As his girls cried, and he frantically called 911, it hid him that this was done on purpose.
