Fasting has been around for eons, from shamans to profits to health nuts today, the restriction of food has always been a part of human history and culture.

An English proverb once said he who eats until he is

sick must fast until he is well. Plato fasted for greater physical and mental efficiency, and even Benjamin Franklin once said

to lengthen thy life, lessen thy meals. Okay, so maybe all these gurus are on to something. But when

does fasting go from healthy to health hazard? In this story I'll explore that question by meeting one doctor
