πŸ“œ TODAY'S SCRIPTURE:

ROMANS 8:3-4 - For God has done what the law, weakened by the flesh, could not do. By sending his own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh and for sin, he condemned sin in the flesh, in order that the righteous requirement of the law might be fulfilled in us, who walk not according to the flesh but according to the Spirit.

Are you ready to set your mind on truth this morning or this afternoon or this

0:08.1

evening or whatever time of day you're listening to this audio? Are you ready to

0:12.4

set your mind on truth?

0:14.1

That is what the morning mindset is really for, is to encourage you with truth from

God's words so that you can do something with it and that's something

0:59.0

And his word reveals it to us and it's our job to set our minds on it, to believe it.

1:05.0

And that's really what it means to set your mind on something.

1:10.0

It's to not just focus on it and concentrate on it, but to believe it.

1:15.0

I mean, you can set your focus on lots of things and not necessarily believe them.

1:21.0

But in this case, as we believe what God says is true, we are

1:25.3

transformed. Now that's a really long introduction for where I want to take you

1:30.2

today and that's to the book of Romans chapter 8 beginning in verse 3 and we've

1:35.5

already covered this in a previous morning mindset episode to a degree but I want to

1:38.9

dig into a little deeper it says God has done what the law weakened by the flesh could not do by sending his own son in the likeness of sinful flesh and for sin.

He condemned sin in the flesh in order that the righteous
