who I am here with today. One of our very, very favorites, Lizzie from Love After Lockup

and Life After Lockup. I had the pleasure of having lunch with her with the gals from

93.1 jams here in Madison just a few weeks ago. And Lizzie agreed to come on the Pink

Shade podcast, which is so amazing because we are huge fans. Lizzie, welcome.

Oh, thank you so much, Erin. How are you today?

I'm really good. I'm really good. You know, it's been raining here in this area. As you

know, for like four weeks straight. And it's a sunny day today, right? I mean, how do you

like living here? Number one, Lizzie, let's just start with that. How do you like living?

Okay. I, you know what? I love Portage Wisconsin. Um, but like, okay, so I love it because

I'm close to Madison and close to Wisconsin. And I love water parts and, you know, all

that festival stuff. But I could do without the snow like the little polar vortex that we

have like negative 100 degrees. Yes, I could do without that. Right. Where we all like

weren't danger of dying if we went outside for that week. Yeah, that was no joke. I,

one of the things I asked you when we had lunch, I'm like, you lived through winter. Like

you made it. You're actually going to stay here. And you're like, yeah, I made it. I

know. Yes. Well, I'm originally from Upper Michigan. So I'm in from the small little town.

Like if you Google this, it's called toy volah. It's T-O-I-V-O-L-A. So if you Google this,

literally a town of like 200 people, like, you live in the U.P. It is in the U.P. Yes.

And it's beautiful up there. It's like so nice. I lived on a farm. It's gonna be back.

Oh my god. This is what we want to hear about. We want to hear about the Lizzy origin story.
