and welcome to episode 128. It hasn't been nice to have three or four days where COVID hasn't

really been in the news, you know, COVID or indeed party game, indeed party game. So it's been a bit,

there's been other stuff we haven't had this for a while, have we? We've had the Joe Rogan story,

rumbling on, we've had the Jimmy Car story as well, you know, that's why we're doing a solo show

this week because there are new and meaty things that you and I need to unpack together. But before

all that, I've been back out on tour in the last week, I was out in Crawley on Wednesday night and

it was great to be there. There was a couple of punters passed out before the gig and I'm not saying

that like, like, I'm the Beatles, do you know what I mean? It wasn't quite that but I hope they were

all right. I think they were attending the other show that was in the venue as fucking dropping,

you know, in the post-COVID age, that kind of stuff, even though it evidently's got nothing to do

with COVID, you could tell that it's spooked the audience at the beginning. It's a new variant,

the Crawley variant. I think there is a Crawley variant but I don't think it's anything to do with COVID,

no offense to Crawley. Well, some offense. I was in Ailsbury on Friday night cracking gig there

and then on Saturday, I was in Brighton and what a crowd that was in Brighton. My God, the energy

was ridiculous and I came out to applause and a sound of two Jack Russell dogs barking and the audience

didn't seem to mind. It was weird. And then I said a few things about, you know, Jack, well, I said

that I think I was a bit speciesist so no doubt once the Jimmy Car thing blows over, I will be held

up as culpable for things that I have said about Staffordshire Bull Terriers. And then I was up to

M4 to Cardiff on Sunday and that was, you know, the glee club and what I just want to say thank you

to everybody that come out because let's be honest, you buy your tickets. You go, yeah, it's a Sunday

night and then it gets to Sunday night and you think we could just fuck this off, right? It's 5pm,

it's a cold February Sunday, it's gone dark but you came out and you came out and you were a
