0:24.2	Calcedon. We also looked at the controversy regarding the meaphysite
0:28.1	Christology of the Oriental Orthodox, primarily the Coptic and the Armenian churches.
0:35.6	Today we look at the iconoclasm heresy. This is the heresy that states we
0:40.8	cannot make images of Christ, of Mary, or of the Saints.
0:47.0	Now, this heresy was refuted at the seventh Ecumenical Council,
0:52.0	that's the second Council of Nicia.
0:55.0	And instead of doing a bunch of research and re-recording this topic, I thought, you know what,
1:02.0	there is a new St Thomas Institute lesson on the
1:05.7	council of Nicia 2 on iconoplasm it's 11 minutes and 25 seconds why not just
1:12.0	share it as another sample with all of you listening at the
1:15.9	Taylor Marshall Podcast. So again this week I put a concise brief lesson from the New St Thomas Institute. It's what we do. We do short classes. We realize

1:51.8	7th Ecumenical Council. Let's go ahead and get started. We Catholics here from Protestants frequently why do you guys worship statues? Why do you all
