So you might not be familiar with that name.

Most of you probably aren't going to be familiar with that name, but he is an incredibly

interesting man that I met just really a couple of months ago, but he owns a custom boot making shop.

So think Western cowboy boots on second in Harrison in downtown Guthrie, Oklahoma.

And this guy designs and handcrafts custom cowboy boots, right?

So these are not the boots that you're just gonna walk into the store,

pull off the shelf, spend a few hundred bucks and get on out the door.

This guy literally will craft a boot around each one of your individual feet.

And a really cool thing is, is we actually do this interview in his shop so there's going to be some

ambient noise I'm just gonna tell you right away we've got you know a train in the

background at one point I think you can hear cars driving by his apprentice

is in there working on boots and they were like,

hey, you know, does he need to be quiet?

I'm like, no, no, like we want to hear that.

You can hear him walking around his boots there on the hardwood floor,

the doors opening and closing, but it's got really really cool sound to it so it's not

going to be you know the most studio quality thing that you've ever heard but I just

really wanted to do this in this interview in the ambience and surroundings of his actual shop there in Guthrie, Oklahoma.

It's an incredible story of how he even got there though because this guy spent almost 20 years

as a working cowboy in Wyoming, Montana, the Dakota's, Nebraska.

I mean, this guy was the real deal.
