podcast. Each episode we dive into the minds of some of the worst criminals in

history and today has to be one of the most shocking and inhumane cases I have come across that has happened in recent times.

Like I'm not kidding you here today's case is truly horrific.

It is mind-blowing how anyone can treat another human being like this.

It's heartbreaking, it is infuriating,

and at the same time, it's like a big mystery.

Because back in 2022, police went to what they thought was just a regular family home.

Just a regular family home, look really nice, it was a little cute house on a cul-de-sac.

Nothing seemed out of the ordinary.

And when they entered the home, they went into the living room, and they found the body of a woman that had literally rotted into the living room couch.

Her body had started decomposing, there were maggots everywhere.

She was covered in feces and urine, and the couch underneath this woman had also started to rot away.

The leather on the couch had started to melt, the sofa foam was exposed, and this woman was literally fused into the sofa.

It was literally like someone had melted this woman and she had become one with the couch. And the worst part of all of this

is that this happened to this woman whilst she was still alive. This woman had been left in this

condition on this sofa for 12 years. She was mistreated and neglected and

her parents were living in the same house and this woman was called Lacey Fletcher. And you possibly have already heard the name Lacey Fletcher because this case is pretty recent and it made huge news when it broke.

We begin with the case that has been hard for even the most seasoned

investigators to forget the death of Lacey Fletcher.

And this case is truly shocking and horrific and I cannot wrap my head around this case.
