A horrible tragedy has happened at a Catholic school in Minneapolis, Minnesota.

I have to be careful with the way I talk about it.

And honestly, I almost decided to delete this stream and not do this show because I don't

know if I can get through it.

My wife and I just spent the last week preparing

our children to go back to Catholic school, uniforms, back to school supplies, meeting the teachers,

family, friends, get-togethers, all the excitement of going back to Catholic school. And to read

this story and to see the pain and to see the hurt.

This young man, I believe he was 23 years old. He had confusion about his gender. And he went

in and I've seen either two people lost their lives, maybe three people, up to 17 or 19,

injured. The numbers are still coming out.

And here's the perpetrator. And I almost canceled this. I was like, I don't, I don't know if I can get

through this. I don't know if I want to do this topic. But then I realize we'll do it for the martyrs.

These two or three children that have already lost their lives, I think the ages 8 and 10.

I have a 9 and 12 year old, so it just cuss me to the heart.

They're martyrs.

They're martyrs of Jesus Christ.

And I think that's something that we should just spend a moment on,

the doctrine of martyrdom in the church. If someone attacks you because they're trying to

steal your watch or steal your wallet, they break in your house, they kill you, you're not a martyr.
