It was a busy night at the Oslo Plaza Hotel, an attractive dark-haired woman approached

the counter to check in for a few days.

Three days later, she was found dead in her room, the victim of an apparent self-inflicted

gunshot wound.

While investigators thought it was an open-and-shot case, they soon discovered they had a complex

mystery on their hands.

Jennifer Fergate, as she had signed the check-and-slip, didn't exist.

Neither did the address, phone number, or company she claimed to work for.

Her room was neat and orderly, appearing as though she had hardly been in it.

She had very little clothing with her, no identification or personal effects.

In fact, there was absolutely nothing to indicate who she might be.

Then there's the mysterious man she was seen with.

Rolled at heat play in her life or perhaps in her death.

While the police made a ruling early on, many questions have been raised about the possibility

of homicide, let alone who Jennifer Fergate truly is.
