Good morning, friends. I am so excited to get into our study for this

morning for this five minute morning mindset because we're in Romans

chapter 8 and this is perhaps one of the most critical

passages for us as Christ followers to remember and to understand because this passage unpacks how we are to live in this world in a way

that kills sin and brings glory to God. That's good news isn't it? That's something we all can use today and every day.

And Paul has started out chapter 8 by saying because of what Jesus has done,

there is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus.

And that is such a powerful concept,

it's such an amazing truth,

that we may just spend this entire episode pondering that.

How many times in your life do you feel condemned? How many times do you hear that voice of condemnation in your own head?

After you've sinned, after you've snapped at your children,

after you said something cutting to your spouse or you've wished harm on someone else,

after you've done that same old sin that you always struggle with again.

How often do you hear that voice of condemnation?

If you're anything like me, it's a fairly common experience to know a voice of condemnation that's telling you you're no good God won't accept you you've sinned one too many times that's it you. You've blown it. But I'm here to tell you because the

scripture tells us right here that if you have placed your faith in Jesus

Christ, those voices no longer have any place in your life.

It doesn't mean you won't hear them, but it means you don't have to listen to them

because they no longer speak the truth about you. It doesn't matter what you've done. It doesn't matter if you have messed up again. You are not condemned.

For those actions, for those sins. Why is that? Because Jesus Christ took your condemnation

on the cross. He paid the price. He took the punishment. It's called
