It's N Halloween, and in my house, we're facing a choice.

My soon-to-be 12-year-old daughter is struggling with the decision to go out trick-or-treating or to stay in and hand out candy.

That's a tough one.

I can imagine her asking herself,

do I want to stay a kid or do I want to grow up?

Do I want to go collect candy in costume?
