Hey everyone, welcome back to the show.

Today we are chatting with Mexican sister filmmaking team,

Constanza and Dominica Castro.

They are founders of the LA-based production company 271 Films and directors of the

20-22 Sundance selected Short Dock, we are here.

They have teamed up with Lena Waits, Hillman Grad Productions, and indeed to executive produce the Rising Voices Initiative,

which invests in and mentors the next generation of Bi-POC directors.

Each season, this program awards 10 filmmakers up to a hundred thousand dollars

production budget to make a short film that will premiere at the

Troybecca Film Festival.
