and led Carrie to believe that he knew her stepfather and needed help with directions to her

house to meet up with him. That was the last time anyone saw Carrie Ann Medlin. She was reported

missing and immediately friends and neighbors began a massive search for the girl.

The following day, her body was found at the end of the road near the outskirts of town.

Just two days after her body was found, Robert Coe was arrested and confessed three days later.
