Hello from CNN, I'm Chris Debeau with the five things you need to know for Friday, November 10th.

U.S. President Joe Biden and Chinese President Shizhin-Peng will meet next Wednesday in the San Francisco Bay Area,

that's according to senior administration officials.

It will be the second time the two have come face to face since Biden became president.

The meeting comes at a time when US-China relations are frosty and amid heavy global turbulence with conflict in the

Middle East and Ukraine. These talks aren't expected to be a major thaw in relations, but White

House AIDS view it as a good sign, and the U.S. hopes the leaders can develop a framework

to manage competition between the two world powers.

They've got a lot to talk about,

like restoring military communications,

military escalation in the South China Sea and around Taiwan, and. military and toward its iron-fisted autocratic rule is underlying all of this tension.

The director of a hospital complex in northern Gaza says it's completely surrounded by tanks,

making it impossible to leave. His warning comes as the

Israeli military announced a six-hour window today for people to flee to southern

Gaza, with Israel and the UN saying thousands have already fled in recent days.

A senior Israeli official told CNN that these pauses would be localized

and that every day they'll take place in a specific area.
