President-elect Donald Trump has nearly finalized his list of cabinet picks. Now, he'll have to get them confirmed.

Most of Trump's elections are subject to Senate approval, a process that still needs to play out

with high-profile hearings expected on Capitol Hill in January.

Republican lawmakers are bracing for how they'll navigate a slew of Trump's unorthodox picks.

And some lawmakers have some concerns about Pete Hegseth for Defense Secretary

and Tulsi Gabbard for Director of National Intelligence.

Heg Seth is a former Fox News host and military veteran

with sexual assault allegations against him.

An encounter Hegseth maintains was consensual

and police did not file charges against him.

And Gabbert has come under intense scrutiny

for her views on surveillance

and the agencies that conducted that she could soon run.

CNN's Elena Trin has the latest on how Trump's team is handling the uphill battle ahead to get them confirmed.

their concerns are and also see how they can offer them assurances before these public confirmation
