Hello from CNN, I'm Joe Beck, with the five things you need to know for Thursday, May 30th.

The jury and former President Donald Trump's Hush Money trial have started deliberations again.

The seven men and five women are deciding whether the prosecution provided enough evidence to prove

Trump committed a crime by falsifying business records to cover up a hush money payment and impact the 2016 election.

Any verdict will have to be unanimous.

The deliberations lasted more than four hours yesterday,

and the jury asked to have some of the judge's instructions

and some witness testimony read back to them.

Trump and his lawyers will be staying at the courthouse during deliberations, and CNN's

Kristen Holmes says they have no idea whether the jury's request

means anything about their possible verdict.

I think right now it's a guessing game.

One of the things I reported last night was that they've been trying to read the tea leaves with the jury.

We know that they brought in several different lawmakers, donors, allies.

One of the things that those people were doing when they were observing was observing the

jury and relaying back to the Trump team what they saw.

It goes to show you how little anybody knows they're grasping at straws to try to kind of

glean any information they can about where this jury's head is at.

The UN says the aid entering Gaza has dropped by two-thirds

since Israel started launching attacks in Raffa earlier this month.

And the delivery of aid could get even harder, as Israel says it's

established, quote, operational control over a buffer zone along more than 8.5 miles of the Egypt
