Police have searched a hostel in Upper Manhattan, where they believe the man who shot and killed United Healthcare CEO may have been staying.

The NYPD says the gunman approached Brian Thompson from behind and shot him at least once

in the back and the right calf.

The man is still on the loose since yesterday's

attack, but officials say he may have dropped some vital clues. Law enforcement sources say the

words delay and depose were found on a live round and a shell casing. They're exploring

whether this points to a popular phrase in the insurance industry, delay, deny, defend. And bounty hunter, Zeke Unger,

told CNN he doesn't believe the shooter is a professional killer. I believe that the individual,

by looking at the footage, has some psychological issues, that this is a revenge shooting.

A source told CNN that United Healthcare's parent company was aware of concerning threats

against its high-level executives, but the threats didn't mention Thompson by name.
